On tonight’s episode:

Toma meets a girl dressed in clothes.

Index makes some angry faces.

Stiyl Magnus shows Toma some paper.

And... they get a cat.

Again, not a lot happens. We meet Aisa (the girl in the shrine maiden robes), who Stiyl reveals to be “Deep Blood.” That is pretty much all that happens. Disappointingly, Toma’s memory loss is only mentioned in a few throwaway lines. The scene in the last half of episode 6 was nice, as it really made you feel Index’s sense of loss over Toma’s amnesia (although he put on an act to make Index think it was all a joke in the end). We get no such scenes here but hopefully, they’ll revisit the topic. On another subject, I’ve found that I really like Index’s voice actor (Yuka Iguchi). Her voice sort of reminds me of Minami-ke’s Chiaki. It is a voice that is most beautiful while hurling abuse.
