Full review of Queen’s Blade

Easily the greatest anime I’ve seen, I would even put Queen’s Blade in the running for the greatest anime of all time. It is a classic hero’s journey with a surprisingly insightful story, highlighting the joys and sorrows of a bygone era.

• Opinion: masterpiece
• + story is pure and simple on the outside, but hides a lot of depth
• + well written characters
• + excellent character designs and animation
• - that one woman with the 5-foot jubblies
• Conclusion: When I watch Queen’s Blade, I see a metaphor for our lives wrapped in the format of an epic journey and fighting tournament. It is the truest art you can find in anime.
